After years of telling myself that writing a book is too farfetched, I’ve finally come to the realization that anyone with an idea and some inspiration can write a book.
I really want to write a fiction book because not only do I love reading them, but I’ve written down so many potential book ideas over the past few years.
The problem is that I graduated college with a business major — so I never really learned the creative process. Having a massive list of ideas isn’t the problem. I just have no idea how to start writing a book. I’m wondering what the process of writing a book looks like? If I really go for it and begin writing, I want to make sure that I’m doing it properly with the hopes of one day getting published.
While writing is enjoyable for me, I wouldn’t want to write a book if I didn’t have the business part of things sorted as well (there’s the business major side of me). I would love to hear from someone who has written a book that can provide me with a step-by-step process to ensure I do everything the right way. Thanks in advance!
